Dr. Juan Liu received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Wuhan University in 1996. She is a Professor of Wuhan University, and she is the Associate Chair of the Institute of Software, Associate Chair of the Professor Committee, and Director of the Laboratory for Bioinformatics and Data Mining at the School of Computer, she also serves as an expert consultant of the local government. Prof. Liu’s research interests include bioinformatics, drug informatics, data mining, and natural language processing, and so on. Prof. Liu is on the program committees of a few international conferences. She has published one research book and more than 80 research articles in professional journals and conferences.
