Shao-Wu Zhang
is a Professor in the School of Automation, Northwestern Polytechnical University, China. He worked as a visiting scholar and staff in the Computational Biology and Bioinformatics Group, University of Southern California (USA) from 2008 to 2009; a staff in the Department of Computing, Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2008. His recent interests include metagenomics, complex biological networks, applications of pattern recognition theory and machine learning to bioinformatics and biological systems.
