Biography: |
Dr. Luoping Zhang is an Associate Professor in School of Public Health, University of California at Berkeley, USA. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in physical chemistry from Wuhan University, and Master’s degree (M.S.) in bio-inorganic chemistry from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. Dr. Zhang received her Ph.D. in biochemical toxicology from Simon Fraser University, British Columbia, Canada.
Research Interests:

Mechanisms of bone marrow toxicity caused by toxic chemicals, such as benzene, formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, butadiene, dioxin etc.;

Application of systems biology (toxicogenomics, epigenomics, bioinformatics, phenomics) and RNA interference (RNAi) in molecular epidemiological studies and in in vitro experiments;

Environmental pollution and adverse health effects in China.
